Rames News Letter – Spring 2008
The daffs are in full bloom, Spring is finally here.......I visited Cotehele National Trust House in the Tamar Valley (15 miles from Looe) for a Taste of the West Food Festival during March.
There was a good turn out for people showing off and selling their local produce.
The thing I enjoyed most was to see the daffs, a sea of yellow.
If you visit Cornwall and you haven’t yet been to Cotehele, I can highly recommend it...lovely cream teas and the walks through the gardens are very relaxing.
The National Trust properties nearby are all now open and filling with colour, Lanhydrock, Anthony Estate, Port Elliot and for the real enthusiast the Eden Project.
Bayview Apartments are getting booked up, I think with all the taxes they are putting on flights abroad, people are maybe thinking Cornwall....Sun, Sea and a great pint of Cornish Cider!!!
Every time I go to the apartments, the views change, the colour of the sea, up the valley its greening up as the trees start to show their leaves. As one guest said in Rames visitors book
“The best view in England”
Our offer for July and August is a leisure boat trip in and around Looe
OR for you true sea dogs a fishing trip (whatever you catch you keep)
Don’t forget from mid September we will start doing short breaks, its a great place to watch theworld go by.
My favourite taxi ride in Looe!!
